The DOLOMITE ZERMATT GTX is a versatile trekking boot that incorporates the latest technology into a shoe with a classic trapper style.
They are designed for alpine trekking in terrain requiring good foot hold. They will also prove ideal for a weekend trip out of town, as well as an active backpacking holiday.
The high level of protection against water is due to the Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort membrane used in these boots. Thanks to this, your feet will always remain dry and protected from the cold on rainy days. The breathable (vapour-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from the inside of the boot. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimum thermal comfort.
The front part of the shoes is protected by a special rubber boot. Its purpose is to protect the toes from impact with the terrain elements and accidental wetness on contact with moisture.
The Vibram® sole used on this model guarantees high grip and stability on uneven ground. Its medium hardness will be suitable for most hikes in both mountain and forest terrain. The EVA foam in the sole effectively absorbs and dampens the unevenness of the terrain on which we tread.
