Optimally usable in combination with the SIMPLEX splitting maul and the SIMPLEX sledge hammers, solid twisted splitting wedge made of forged heat-treated steel, ground strike plate with chamfer, cutting edge is ground blank, with guide groove, forged diagonal grooves and forged recessed grips on sides.

Heat-treated steel, drop forged, polished striking plate and provided with chamfer

Notes

Drive in steel wedges only with a soft-face mallet with plastic inserts. Striking steel on steel can result in splintering.
