The front part of the shoes is protected by a special rubber boot. It is designed to protect the toe from impact with terrain elements and accidental wetness when in contact with moisture.
An important element of the shoes is the upper made with seamless technology with an elastic collar and tongue that comfortably wrap around the ankle and instep, providing comfort and protection. The material used to make it is recycled and certified Global Recycled Standard Group (GRS).
The high level of protection against water is due to the membrane used in these boots Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort. It will keep your feet dry and protected from the cold on rainy days. The breathable (vapor-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from inside the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow the accumulation of excess moisture formed on the skin. As a result, it takes care of optimal thermal comfort.
The sole Vibram® Crodanera used in this model guarantees high grip and stability on uneven ground. Its medium hardness will be suitable for most hiking in both mountain and forest terrain.
